Florida Federation of Young Republicans

What is a Florida Young Republican?

Florida Young Republicans are registered Republicans who are 40 years old or younger and are interested in taking an active role in Republican Party politics. They are organized as a special group because, as young people, their different opportunities and situations deserve special attention for incorporation into political activity. Young Republicans take part in GOP activities in their communities, doing everything from registering voters and phone-banking to managing campaigns and running for office. They provide crucial support to the Republican Party and work to ensure the future of the party in their communities and nationwide.

What does the Florida Federation of Young Republicans (FFYR) do?

FFYR works to develop a statewide aggressive and productive Young Republican organization by attracting young men and women into the Republican Party and provide them with a practical means of Republican Party participation, leadership training, and political involvement at all levels of government. FFYR also works to further the principles, objectives, and platform of the FFYR and to promote the election of duly nominated Republican candidates.

FFYR is the statewide organization of local Young Republican clubs in Florida. Click here to find a local YR club in your city or county. If there isn’t a club in your area, please contact us about how to start a YR club.
